City Reach and the New Orleans Dream Center have loads of ways to get involved and help reach people and build lives. If you can volunteer one hour, one afternoon, one day, one week or one year, this is the place for you. You can bring your entire family and have the time of your life! Random acts of kindness – Join a Serve team to perform unselfish acts to show our community that we care.
Neighborhood cleanup - Join a Saturday team to help cleanup neighborhoods and landscape to reinstill pride in our community.
Construction - Teams are helping to rebuild homes and partner with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, NOAH Rebuild and His Hands2Go construction projects.
Handyman & women - Provide light construction activities, carpentry work, and minor repairs to help individuals in need or rebuild schools.
Painters - Both skilled or unskilled are helping our schools and non-profit organizations..
Information Technology volunteers - Help install and teach computer skills in schools and non-profit organizations helping to rebuild our city.
School volunteers - Assist teachers, provide tutoring, mentoring and after school programs in the arts (music/drama) and physical fitness.
Medical professionals - Doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners, and technicians are needed to volunteer time at our medical mobile unit, and participate in health fairs and health education.
Dental professionals (dentists/assistants) - Help meet the tremendous dental needs of those without resources to pay.
Adult Learning - Volunteers help adults learn and grow to become successful and employable, You need not be a teacher; this is a fully developed computer assisted learning system and instructions will be provided.
Employment Center - Be a coach to those desiring to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives. Provide career counseling and help set a course for success in an employable industry.
