Today’s youth are over-challenged by the temptations of their culture to be involved in immorality, unethical, and ungodly behavior. They are often under-challenged to accomplish great things in God’s Kingdom. Short term mission trips present a moment, an opportunity for a young man or young woman to experience a world they have only heard of or seen on television. Their faith in God and willingness to serve Him will be encouraged by the atmosphere of His presence. They will experience first hand the joy of serving others who cannot repay their kindness. They will experience the willingness of God to use them in miraculous ways to bring the Gospel to the lives of people who might not ever hear of Christ had they not gone. They will be changed forever with the desire to serve God and build his Kingdom at home and abroad.
