Join us to help lead the Egypt Christian Youth Conference
Church of the King has assisted in leading the 1st Christian Youth Conference since 2012,
hosting over 200 young people from 103 different churches in Egypt.
Many lives have been changed - many youth have accepted Christ and were baptized.
In 2016, we returned to have 215 in attendance, 70 accepted Christ and most baptized in the Holy Spirit.
This is a one of a kind trip, representing the Gospel in a challenging land.
Pastor Sam will again lead the team as we work alongside many Christian leaders in Egypt who are very encouraged and excited that COTK is returning to encourage them.
Daily Activities: This team will work closely with host churches in planning and leading this youth conference. Daily mentoring opportunities, relational work with small groups, along with sporting activities. Must be able to endure extreme heat and long ministry days. All communication through translators.
History: Egyptian youth are under extreme persecution for belief in Jesus. Because of certain political scenarios, Egypt is now more open to Gospel than anytime in 1500 years. This is an opportunity to serve the church in Egypt by encouraging these youth to come together, learning more about their faith and being ignited in the fire of the Spirit to represent the Lord Jesus throughout Egypt. This is a historical window of opportunity God is offering to the church.

This trip is good for college and adults. A little tougher and sweatier, but amazing.
About This Trip
TRIP DETAILS:
Youth Conference in Egypt, July 6-14, 2023.
Day 1: Departing the USA
Day 2: Arrival in Egypt
Day 3: Travel to Alexandria in the morning. Conference begins.
Days 3-6: Conference. Final service.
Day 6: Return to Cairo.
Day 7: Team Building and Community Project.
Day 8: Depart to the USA.
Things To Know
Team Members: Team is looking for youthful, proven leaders who have the desire and faith to help change a nation. Open to Adults (18+). All applications are subject to team leader approval.
Passport Required: A passport valid through February 2018 is required for this trip. If your passport expiration is prior to February 2018, please contact the Global Reach Department for instructions before applying for this trip.

What is covered by the trip fee? International round trip airfare to/from New Orleans/Egypt; insurance, housing, meals, ground transportation at destination. Your trip fee includes the required entry visa, but does not cover expenses to obtain a passport or any vaccinations.
We recommend bringing additional money for airport meals/snacks, any additional drinks or food you might want during the trip and other personal items you might want to buy. Your team leader can answer any specific questions regarding this.
Weather: Temperatures can range between upper 70's to mid 100's daily. You will be provided with a complete packing list by your team leader.
Trip Fee: Total fee is approximately $3,800. Price subject to slight change due to airfare variations. Please refer to the Payment Schedule listed on the right side of this page.
Application Process: Apply online by clicking on the Trip Application button near the top of this page. Once we receive your application, it will be reviewed by the team leader. If approved, you will receive an approval email. At that point, you will need to pay the $200 Application Fee to secure your spot. The $200 Application Fee is not tax deductible. The remaining balance of the cost of the trip is tax deductible. All trip funds are non-transferable and non-refundable. Your account must be paid in full in order to go on the trip.
