About This Trip
We are preparing for a large team to serve together during this 7 day trip. Please review all the trip details and let the Reach Our World office know if you have any questions.
We will fly out of New Orleans on Monday, July 19th and return on Saturday, July 24th, 20201 after a full week of serving alongside the Dream Center staff in Los Angeles.
Daily Activities: Expect long walks, stooping, bending, light lifting, serving food, handing out items, packing boxes, praying, yard word in parks, along with various other assigned activities. Depending on the Dream Center needs, we will be assigned to different ministries daily. Be prepared for long ministry days on your feet with few breaks (6am - 5:30pm).

Team Members: Team is open to Adults and teens (ages 15+). Per the Dream Center Rules you must be at least 15 years old at the time of the trip (2/12/18). All applications are subject to team leader approval.

Additional Information
Accommodations: The housing accommodations are in large dormitory rooms with bunks. You need to be able to climb into a top bunk. None of the rooms have showers, but most of them have toilet/sink facilities. A community shower is located on the floor you are housed. The men are separated from the women. No couples housing is available. Linens are provided (1 towel, bedding sheets, 1 blanket, 1 pillow).
About the Dream Center facility: 24 hour security, breakfast, lunch & dinner included, vending machines, common room with refrigerator and microwave. Please note: there is NO WiFi available on campus. Please do not bring valuables, as there is no locked storage during the day. The team will be eating the daily menu provided by the Dream Center - special diet requests cannot be accommodated. Team members can pay $10 onsite for gym access for the week (optional).
Weather: Temperatures in LA can range between low 50's to upper 60's during this time of year and can feel quite chilly with the breeze. You will be provided with a complete packing list, which includes dress code.

The $200 Application Fee is not tax deductible. The remaining balance of the cost of the trip is tax deductible.

What is covered by the trip fee? Domestic round/trip airfare to/from New Orleans/Los Angeles; housing and meals at the Dream Center; ground transportation in Los Angeles, team t-shirts. $30 from each team member will go towards a special project. The Dream Center has asked us to provide specific items that will bless people in need that they serve.
We recommend bringing additional money for airport meals/snacks, any additional drinks or food you might want during the trip and other personal items you might want to buy. Your team leader can answer any specific questions regarding this.
Application Process: Apply online by clicking on the Trip Application button near the top of this page. Once we receive your application, it will be reviewed by the team leader. If approved, you will receive an approval email. At that point, you will need to pay the $200 Application Fee to secure your spot. The $200 Application Fee is NOT tax deductible.
